I’m gonna to post some problems that faced me while installing the Mac Leopard Distro Called iDeneb
Actually iDeneb is a hacked version for x86 machines of Mac OS Leopard.
Hardware Requirements: a Processor with either SSE2, SSE3 or both, at least 512GB RAM, at least 8 GB free Disk Space and DVD R/W
I used iDeneb v1.3, you may search for it in any public torrent site //Note that iDeneb is illegal version
Download the ISO image and Burn it to a Blank DVD .. make sure that the DVD is burnt right before deleting the ISO image.
The Installation is very Simple .. I was done in about 30 minutes. //I’ll just mention the things that you may not to conclude it yourself easily
1- Boot from the DVD.
2- In the welcome screen choose from the MenuBar >> Utilities >> Disk Utilities.
3- Erase/Format the partition you are going to use for Mac as “Mac OS Extended Journaled”. //If you have problems .. I suggest you use any partitioning tool to format the partition into FAT32 .. I have got some problems with erasing the NTFS partitions.
4- Close the Disk Utilities and complete the required steps
5- In the Install Summary Window Click Customize then choose the Fixes/Patches that fit and your PC Hardware.
6- Finish Installation and then you are done.
wow .. so easy .. huh
I have got some problems and I’m gonna to list it isA..
The first problem that faced me was “Boot0: error”
After installation is successfuly finished I can’t boot my iDeneb .. the only way to access it was by booting from the DVD!
After many try and errors I got that the Leopard must be installed in a PRIMARY PARTITION
So I used Acronis Disk Director to tweak my Hard Disk and I reInstalled the Leopard and .. tada!! It is done
