I’ve never thought that sometime I may write about such thing 
But coz I’m a big fan of both Mac OS X and Windows 7 and I found some of features that I love in one of them and not available in the other! I hope that one day I can develop my Platform Independent Desktop Environment 
anyway what I really love about Mac OS X Dock that I can add folder/file to the dock, change the dock size, style, effects and of course the Stacks with the fancy effects which I really miss when moving to windows 7 for a while doing any task 
On the other hand, MS has just added/stolen (cough ) some of Mac OS X Dock features to windows taskbar such as pinning applications in the taskbar and using big icons! Windows 7 have a great feature there which is the previews or whatever they call it!! It really helps me switching between windows of the same application! Expose in Mac OS X may solve the problem but I still prefer the small thumbnails, each thumbnail with close button and also I can right click any one of them!

You’ve got to stop teasing me.
My lap could easily die if i even considered – just considered – about switching on any fancy GUI features , not to mention what could happen if i actually switched them on

.. but I’m not talking about switching between windows!! Do you know that just hovering the application’s icon in Win7 Taskbar will show thumbnails for all the windows from the same application!
If I wanna do something like that in Mac I will expose the current desktop and then clicking tab until getting to the application I wanna see a preview for all it opened windows .. too long procedure !!!
@Karim Allah: lol .. Windows 7 fancy effects will run on any normal VGA
and if you have unsupported VGA .. you can still enjoy all win7 awesome features except the Aero!!
