Yesterday I really enjoyed the meeting with my graduation project’s team. The meeting’s main goal was to get the best 6 ideas from the suggested 35 project ideas. Yup, our team members suggested 35 project ideas varying between totally innovative ideas and products that already exist but never made in Egypt.
While our awesome 5 hours meeting we put some parameters to help us in the comparison between projects. Each parameter has a suitable score. For example we put a parameter called “Egyptian Market” and we gave it score from 50 points. If we think that a project idea has a real market value in Egypt we will give it 50/50. If a project idea has no market value in Egypt, of course we will give it 0/50 in that parameter. Actually, defining the parameters process take a very long time and we argued a lot till we find the parameters that really fits what we are seeking for. Then, we started discussing each project idea according to these parameters, giving it a score in each parameter and calculating the total. We were pretty slow at the beginning but by the end of the projects list we became professionals 
At the end of the meeting we got only 10 valid project ideas sorted according to its total score. In the next phase inSha’Allah we are going to re-filter the 10 ideas, doing a simple market research for each idea and contacting any companies that may be interested in sponsoring these projects.
I’m really lucky to work with such motivated organized guys and I enjoy working with them
